You will love the slightly floral elegance and citrusy notes of this Lavender London Fog Cake. This divine creation combines the delicate flavors of lavender and Earl Grey Cream tea in a moist and decadent cake that is sure to leave you craving for more. (This recipe was revised from a King Arthur Flour Recipe)

**Ingredients:**
- 4 tablespoons  Earl Grey Cream tea leaves
- 1 1/2 cups (298g) granulated sugar
-  1/4 teaspoon orange zest (grated rind)
- 12 tablespoons (170g) salted butter
-  8-ounce package cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons (28g) milk, whole preferred
- 1 teaspoon Lavender Vanilla Bourbon Extract
- 4 large eggs, at room temperature
- 1 2/3 cups (200g) Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon table salt

Glaze

-1 tsp. Lavender Vanilla Bourbon Extract
- 1 cup (113g) confectioners' sugar
- 3 tbs butter
- 1 t milk, whole preferred

**Instructions:**
1. **Preparation:**
- Preheat the oven to 325°F with a rack in the center. Line a tea loaf pan, 9" x 5" loaf pan, or 8 1/2" x 4 1/2" loaf pan with a parchment sling and lightly grease.
2. **Tea Infusion:**
Crush the tea leaves to a fine consistency, I like to use a Bullet to pulverize. Measure out 4 tablespoons.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the tea, sugar, and lemon zest. Mix for 2 minutes on medium speed or rub the mixture between your fingers.
3. **Mixing:**
- Add the butter and cream cheese and beat until the mixture is homogeneous, about 1 minute on medium speed, scraping the bowl halfway through.
- Scrape down the bowl, add the milk and vanilla, and beat until thoroughly combined, about 30 seconds on low speed.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating to fully incorporate (about 20 seconds on medium speed) and scraping the bowl in between additions.
4. **Incorporating Dry Ingredients:**
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add this mixture to the wet ingredients in 2 additions, beating on low speed.
5. **Baking:**
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
6. **Glaze:**
- In a separate bowl, whisk together confectioners' sugar, butter, milk  and lavender vanilla bourbon extract to create the glaze.
- Once the cake is baked and cooled, drizzle the glaze over the top.
7. **Serve and Enjoy:**
- Allow the glaze to set before slicing.
